With Usps tracking Delivery Instructions, you—the addressee/intended recipient—can define and authorize how specific incoming shipments and mailpieces are to be delivered BEFORE they are actually delivered.
After setting up electronic instructions, products can be left at a designated spot on your property, at the Post Office, or even at a different domestic address — all alternatives are presented online. You can even upgrade the mail class and/or add Extra Services if the item is qualified.
After confirming eligibility on usps-tracking.io (see above), follow these online steps and prompts:
Click "Delivery Instructions" next to the tracking number of your shipment.
The system will prompt you to check in to your usps-tracking.io account (if you do not already have one, you can create one at that time).
Follow the procedures to see if your address is suitable, and then specify delivery instructions.
